GARRY WINOGRAND AD CAMPAIGN

The SFMOMA exhibited the first major retrospective tour of Garry Winogrand’s work in 25 years with hundreds of never-before-seen photos. Winogrand was an American street photographer from the Bronx. His black and white photos captured US life and social issues in the mid-20th century. At the time of his death in 1984, over 2,500 rolls of undeveloped film and 9,500 contact sheets of un-proofed photos were discovered.

I spearheaded the ad campaign which comprised of transit posters, print and animated digital ads, large building and street banners, and store front posters. I was fortunate to have access to hundreds of artistic photos from Winogrand’s extensive collection to choose from.

WELLS FARGO REGIONAL AD CAMPAIGN

Collaborating with my In-house agency, my team and I redesigned the Wholesale Specialized Services ads which comprised of print and digital ads organized in three categories: client testimonials, general lines of businesses, and broker deals. This ad redesign streamlined the multiple ad requests from numerous wholesale lines of businesses from relationship headlines, imagery, body copy messaging, capabilities, call to action, and legal disclosures. Subsequently, I set up the presentation and templates guidelines which ensured brand consistency and easy roll out.

SFMOMA ART AUCTION AD CAMPAIGN

San Francisco Museum of Modern Art supporters and Bay Area art collectors gather every year to bid on more than 50 works of art at the Art Auction / Modern Ball to raise funds for their exhibition and education programs. The top sale of the night was a large scale watercolor pigment print by Chuck Close which hammered in at $100,000. Other top pieces included art by Cindy Sherman, Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, Gerard Richter and others. The ad campaign drew supporters to come support the SFOMA.

SFMOMA COUNTDOWN CELEBRATION ADS

As the SFMOMA was winding down to close its doors for three years, an ad campaign was needed to inform visitors and members to visit the museum before the expansion project would begin. The SFMOMA was embarking on a renovation of the museum to add 78,000 square feet of indoor gallery and public space for conservation and education.
