SIGNAGE
PUBLIC BIKES
PUBLIC Bikes opened their first shop in the heart of South Park, a small SF neighborhood with offices, cafes and restaurants near AT&T park. They requested signage to let people know about their new location with bike accessories and test ride bicycles. The signage had to be reflective of their brand as modern and fun.
I commissioned a local sign company to create custom 9" letters in brushed aluminum steel for their logo, and in smaller 4" type added "BIKES + GEAR" as a pointed tagline. (It was necessary as some people at first confused PUBLIC Bikes as a rideshare company.) Additionally, I designed sandwich boards and signage for their Mission warehouse.
